Tasting Notes

When to drink
Encourage cellaring for up to 5 years
On the nose
The typical viognier characters are there in droves - fresh apricot, jasmine, ginger and citrus. Perfume with stone fruit and honey.
On the palate
Richness of palate without weight, spicy lychee and a lime marmalade tang.
Product Notes
The grapes are picked over a period of 8 days, which helps to balance the acid with the flavour. The wine is made with wild fermentation in barrel and maturation in large format barrel.
