On the nose
Savoury expressions lead the charge, seared beef with a mild pepper, bay leaf and wild thyme. Black Forest cake, glazed cherries and dark chocolate aromas.Oak doesn’t distract on the nose from a fruit-derived core.
On the palate
A silk-like flow, Bin 704, is still somewhat restrained during this embryonic stage. Dark cabernet fruits transfer from the nose to the palate, familiar to both senses. Primary fruits are animated and lithe. Chocolate coated almonds, pomegranate-like acidity, cedary/spicy oak add to the intrigue. Sleek. Silken. Supple.
