William Fevre Petit Chablis Chardonnay 2019

Profile Crisp
Region Chablis
Body Light-medium

One of the greatest Domaines in Chablis, William Fevre was founded in 1957. Its vineyard holdings include 12 hectares of premier cru and 16 hectares of Grand Cru vines. The Domaines fruit is harvested by hand, a rarity in Chablis, and rigorously sorted at the winery to ensure the highest quality. In recent times the amount of new oak used has been cut back and today the average age of the barrels in the cellar is five years. From the Petit Chablis to the Domaines six Grand Cru wines, the quality is superb, and the range from Domaine William Fevre is a benchmark for the wines of the region.

Tasting Notes

When to drink
Enjoy now!
On the nose
Oyster shell, dried white flower and citrus zest.
On the palate
It's saline and intense, medium-bodied, taut and chiselled, concluding with a marine, classically Chablisien finish: light and lively wine.
Product Notes
The terroirs of the Petit Chablis appellation are located on the higher slopes or the beginnings of the plateau. They are made up of hard, brown limestone, or sometimes silty, sandy soils, generally at an elevation of between 230 and 280 meters, with varied orientation.
