On the nose
A subtle fragrance of fresh pineapple curd, crayon wax, cereal, bee pollen and chamomile.
On the palate
Immediately juicy upfront, the fleshy, just-ripe fruit carries lovely fresh acidity and mouth-watering juiciness. Hints of chamomile and salty, coastal herbs mingle with a waft of fresh lemon to linger on the fine-boned porcelain-like palate texture.
Product Notes
A warmer season with an early harvest resulted in beautiful ripeness with elegant fruit perfumes and perfect sugar levels. With high natural acidity present in most fruit parcels, malolactic fermentation was allowed to complete. The premier Chardonnay sections were a mix of 78% Gingin clone and 22% Bernard clones 95, 96 and 76. The majority of the fruit was from our Wilyabrup and Boodjidup vineyards, with a small portion from our Karridale vineyard.
