Tasting Notes

When to drink
Enjoy now or cellar for 1-2 years
On the nose
Pale lemon. Bright green apple, lemon pith and juice, jasmine and white peach on the nose.
On the palate
Slightly salty, high acid, medium-light body, chalky phenolics. More crunchy white peach, lemon juice and pith on the palate. Green apple with bright squeaky clean acid gives focus and length complemented by a faint cream cheese lees note.
Product Notes
The Yarra Valley label is the entry into our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. ‘Yarra Valley’ is a blend of declassified barrels from our grower vineyards and the Mac Forbes single vineyard sites. They represent a snapshot from across the valley and our vineyards.
