On the nose
Pale pink, with peach skin hues and very fine bubbles. Classic Pinot Noir stone fruit aromas, peach and background cranberry notes in the foreground, in the background fresh dough and biscuit characters derived from long yeast ageing.
On the palate
In the mouth, there is a sense of finesse and delicacy. Pinot Noir fruit characters of red berry and ripe peach are displayed, with some grapefruit in the background. Excellent acidity completes the picture with a length of flavour.
Product Notes
In 2015 we decided to create our Vintage Brut Rosé wine exclusively from our estate vineyards in Strathbogie, Whitlands and the Yarra Valley. Having complete control over all the fine details of our vineyards, block by block, row by row, gives us the precision and best expression of Australian sparkling wine grapes. Chandon Vintage Brut Rosé is blended from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, resulting in a full-flavoured and complex wine.
