Tasting Notes

When to drink
Enjoy now or cellar for 1-2 years
On the nose
Wildly aromatic bouquet in dark cherry, cranberry, tomato leaf and dried herb.
On the palate
A core of dark cherry and cranberry fruit; acidity is finely filamented, as are the tannins. The mid-palate sees more red berry fruits before a return to the black cherry influence to finish, this time with coffee grinds and savoury spice.
Product Notes
A considerable part of the appeal is its excellent, high Upper Yarra Valley site which contributes a pinot less immediately fruity and fresh, but rather one that explores deeper varietal reaches.
